Bell Pepper Chicken Delight
Found mistake?
  1. Place chicken strips into a bowl and season with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Let sit for 20 minutes.

  2. Add tapioca flour and egg white to the chicken. Mix until well-coated.

  3. Heat a wok with oil and fry chicken over medium heat until golden. Remove and let cool. For extra crispiness, fry a second time until golden brown.

  4. Prepare the sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

  5. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add sliced bell peppers and stir-fry for 30-45 seconds.

  6. Pour in the sauce, bring to a boil, and mix with the peppers. Cook until slightly thickened.

  7. Add the fried chicken, tossing to coat in the sauce. Cook for another minute or until the sauce reaches desired thickness.

  8. Serve hot, ideally over steamed rice.
