  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, cream butter, ricotta, and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in egg, vanilla, and almond extract.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.

  5. Fold in mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  6. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto the baking sheet. Slightly shape them for a rustic mound.

  7. Bake for 12–14 minutes or until edges are golden. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.

  8. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with melted chocolate.
