Chocolate Coconut Almond Macaroons
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

  2. To a mixing bowl add desiccated coconut, ground almonds, maple syrup, egg whites, melted coconut oil and vanilla extract then mix thoroughly

  3. Roll into 2 tbsp sized balls and place on a lined baking sheet then flatten with your hands

  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly golden

  5. Allow them to cool and then drizzle with dark chocolate
