In a food processor or a blender, blend the cottage cheese until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides to ensure there are no lumps.
To the blended cottage add cocoa (optional - read notes). Blend until smooth.
Break the dark chocolate into small pieces for easier melting. Melt it in a microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time until fully melted.
Transfer the batter to a bowl, add melted chocolate and mix until combined and smooth.
Put the batter into a piping bag then, carefully pour the batter into serving cups.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm. Serve with fresh berries or as is.
