Heat the oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
Blend together the flour, seasoned salt and 2 teaspoons of pepper in a shallow pan.
Salt and pepper each side of the cube steak, then toss around in the flour mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
Melt the butter in the heated oil, then fry the cube steak for about 2 minutes, flipping it over when it's fried to a golden brown. Repeat on the other side then remove to a paper towel lined platter and serve.
