Nickie's ANZAC biscuits
  1. Heat your oven to 180℃ and line a large baking tray with baking paper or reusable baking sheets.

  2. Take a big bowl and add the flour, sugar, oats, and coconut. Give them a good stir to combine.

  3. Melt the butter and mix this with the golden syrup.

    4 Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in the butter mixture.

  4. Stir together the baking soda and boiling water and add to the bowl with everything else. Mix everything until well combined.

  5. Take tablespoons of mixture and roll into balls. Flatten the balls and try to keep their nice circle shape as you do so.

  6. Bake for 10-15 mins or until they're golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.

  8. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
