Italian Almond Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 340°F (170°C)

  2. Mix almond flour, sugar and orange zest.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk up the egg whites with vanilla extract until foamy.

  4. Gradually combine the mixtures with a spoon.

  5. Form the cookies by making small balls of dough, about a tablespoon per cookie. Roll them in icing sugar and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ensure they have some space between them.

  6. Place a whole almond on top of each cookie for decoration and an extra almond flavor.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven. This usually takes around 12-15 minutes.

  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before diving in!
