Preheat your oven to 340°F (170°C)
Mix almond flour, sugar and orange zest.
In a separate bowl, whisk up the egg whites with vanilla extract until foamy.
Gradually combine the mixtures with a spoon.
Form the cookies by making small balls of dough, about a tablespoon per cookie. Roll them in icing sugar and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ensure they have some space between them.
Place a whole almond on top of each cookie for decoration and an extra almond flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven. This usually takes around 12-15 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before diving in!
