Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped romaine, croutons, and Parmesan cheese.
In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, anchovy fillets (if using), lemon juice, olive oil, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
