Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl
Mix in brown sugar, honey or maple syrup, and melted butter or coconut oil
Add milk, egg, and vanilla extract to the mixture
In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined
Stir in the chopped almonds
Pour batter into muffin cups and top with extra almonds
Bake until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
