Buttermilk Scones
  1. Combine the butter and flour into crumbs and stir through the sugar.

  2. Combine the Buttermilk and vanilla and heat gently if required.

  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients with a knife.

  4. DO NOT OVERMIX OR KNEAD.

  5. Flatten on a floured surface and cut into Scones.

  6. Transfer onto a lined baking tray, brush with Buttermilk and sprinkle with sugar.

  7. Bake on 200°c for up to 20 minutes, depending on the size of the Scones.
