Preheat oven to 160 Celsius
Grease an 8 inch cake pan and line the bottom with a circle of parchment paper.
Add the flour and baking powder to a bowl and mix together well.
Add all of the remaining ingredients and mix for just a couple of minutes until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the centre springs back when touched and a wooden toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Turn out onto a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
Dust the surface with a little icing sugar before serving.
