Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the cold cubed butter and whisk until slightly creamy

  2. Add the white sugar and light brown sugar, then whisk together until well combined and fluffy

  3. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips or chunks, then whisk until fully incorporated

  4. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then gently mix until just combined without overmixing

  5. Portion the dough into 85-90g balls

  6. Place the cookie dough balls onto a tray and freeze for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best results

  7. Preheat oven to 175-180°C (350°F) and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the tops are lightly golden while the centres remain soft

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly

  9. Serve warm with ice cream
