Low-carb In-n-out Burger Copycat With Cheesy Onion Buns
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Slice the red onion into thick rings and separate them into individual rounds.

  3. On the prepared baking sheet, create small mounds of shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Place an onion round on top of each cheese mound.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 6-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and begins to crisp up around the edges.

  5. While the onion buns are baking, season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into patties.

  6. Spread mustard on both sides of the beef patties.

  7. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4 minutes on each side, or to your desired level of doneness.

  8. To prepare the spread, combine mayonnaise, sugar-free ketchup, dill relish, and vinegar in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.

  9. Assemble the burgers by placing a beef patty between two crispy cheesy onion buns and top with the homemade spread.
