Smoked Bbq Grenade Shells
  1. Prepare your smoker at a temperature of 300 degrees. * We used Apple for this cook

  2. Put Pasta Shells in boiling water for 3 Minutes. Drain and run shells under cold water. Set aside shells

  3. Combine the ground sausage, shredded cheese and mix in some of your Choice Rub.

  4. Take the mini Mozzarella balls and slice them in half

  5. Stuff each Shell with the meat mixture and half of one Mozzarella ball. Get as much into each shell as you can without jamming it or packing it in super-tightly.

  6. Lay out bacon and sprinkle some Rub. Then Wrap each shell with bacon – starting at one end and winding the bacon around the shell as you work toward the opposite end. Make sure you cover as much of the pasta as you can or the pasta will get hard.

  7. Before I place on Smoker I sprinkle a coat of rub on the Grenades.

  8. Smoked for 1 hour with Internal temperature of 160F and make sure you get the bacon at the right color if not keep it in there for a little longer.

  9. Then Brush the outside of each shell with BBQ sauce and smoke for an additional 10 to 15 minutes

  10. Let rest and Enjoy
