Ginger Garlic Chicken Thigh Bake
  1. Place the chicken into a bowl and add in all the marination ingredients. Mix, cover with cling film, and allow to marinate for 24 hours.

  2. Next day, take from the fridge and let it come to room temp.

  3. Sear the chicken until golden-brown, then set aside.

  4. In the same pan, add onion, dania stems, garlic, and ginger. Cook until softened.

  5. Add tomato paste, spices, and a quarter cup of hot water. Cook down for about 5 minutes.

  6. Add double cream and bay leaves, mix, and let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.

  7. Add finely chopped dania leaves and switch off the heat.

  8. Place the chicken in a casserole dish, pour the sauce over it, and cover with foil.

  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 40-45 minutes.

  10. Serve with your favorite starch and veggie.
