Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente
While pasta cooks, peel and dice the ripe pear into small pieces
Drain the cooked pasta, reserving some pasta water
Add the diced pear to the hot pasta
Melt the Pecorino cheese into the pasta, adding pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce
Season generously with freshly cracked black pepper
Serve immediately while hot and creamy
