Sourdough Chocolate Banana Bread
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  2. Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

  3. Mix in the wet ingredients: eggs, sourdough discard, milk, bananas and vanilla.

  4. Combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda together. Dump into batter and gently mix until just combined.

  5. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

  6. Spray a 9” x 5” pan with non-stick spray and pour the batter in the pa. Top with remaining chocolate chips. Bake for 1 hour-1 hour 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. The last 20 minutes I recommend adding foil over the banana bread to keep the top from drying out.

  7. Set on cooling rack to cool and enjoy!
