  4. Continue simmering for 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the syrup thickens to your desired consistency.

  5. Allow the syrup to cool completely.

  6. Transfer it to a jar and store it in the refrigerator.

  7. Use 1-2 tablespoons of syrup in a glass of milk or drizzle over your favorite desserts!
