Peel and cut the potatoes into evenly sized pieces.
Bring a large pot of water to a simmer and add potatoes.

Drain, then return to the pot over low heat to let steam escape.
Mash potatoes, then add butter, cream cheese, and half-and-half.
Add seasoned salt and pepper, mash again until smooth.
Transfer to a baking dish, dot with butter, and bake at 350°F until warmed through.
