Cook pasta al dente according to the instructions on the packet. Drain and keep it aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat and sauté onion, garlic and mushrooms for a couple of minutes.
Add Italian sausage and cook while crumbling with a spatula. Cook till sausage gets brown all over.
Lower the heat and add in cream, stir for a minute. Add in cheese along with spinach. Cook for another minute.
Add in pasta and cook till spinach wilts. Serve immediately.
