Saute your mirepoix with some butter and a pinch of salt and pepper.
I recommend blending it so it's super smooth.
Then once that's soft, add in some grated garlic and deglaze with white wine.
Add in the Pastina to toast a bit and then pour in your chicken broth.
Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and then add in your chopped broccoli and season with a pinch of salt.
Let that simmer for about 10 minutes, and then once everything is tender, add in your cream, cream cheese if using, and then your shredded cheeses.
Now just give it a taste to see if it needs any more salt pepper and you're done.
