Sautéed Broccoli
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the broccoli, garlic, salt, and several grinds of pepper and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.

  3. Add 2 tablespoons water, cover, and cook until the broccoli is tender, 2 to 4 more minutes.

  4. Turn off the heat.

  5. Squeeze with lemon juice and sprinkle with red pepper flakes, if using.

  6. Season to taste with more salt and pepper.
