In a large pot, heat olive oil. Cook chopped onion for 2-3 minutes.
Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic. Cook until crumbled for 7-8 minutes.
Add broth, cabbage, bay leaf, thyme, oregano, paprika, and canned tomatoes.
Simmer for 25 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
Season with more salt and pepper to taste.
