Drizzle olive oil over both sides of each fillet. Rub gently to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the salmon. Pat down lightly so it sticks.
Preheat your air fryer to 200 °C (390 °F) for 3 minutes.
Place fillets in the air fryer basket skin-side down (if skin-on).
Air-fry for 8 minutes at 200 °C (390 °F). Check for flakiness; if needed, cook 1–2 minutes more.
Remove carefully. Let rest 1 minute before serving.
Serve with lemon wedges and optional herbs.
