Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken
  1. Place the boneless skinless chicken breast pieces into the insert of a 4 - 4 ½ quart crockpot slow cooker.

  2. In a small mixing bowl whisk together the pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce and minced garlic.

  3. Reserve ¼ cup of the sauce, then pour the remaining sauce over the chicken and gently stir to coat all the chicken pieces with the sauce.

  4. Place the lid onto the crockpot and set to LOW for 4 hours. After the chicken has cooked for 4 hours, remove the lid.

  5. Add the cornstarch to the ¼ cup reserved sauce and whisk until no lumps of cornstarch remain. Pour the mixture into the crockpot and stir to combine.

  6. With the crockpot on high, and the lid removed, cook the sweet hawaiian crockpot chicken for an additional 30 - 45 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.

  7. Garnish with the thinly sliced green onions.
