Lightly beat the eggs.
Soften the butter in a microwave.
Unplug the bread machine and remove the bread pan.
Add the pumpkin puree, eggs & butter (or oil) into the bread pan and then add the rest of the ingredients.
Put the bread pan (with all of the ingredients) back into the bread machine, close the bread machine lid and then plug in the bread machine.
Enter the bread machine settings (Sweet Quick Bread/Cake, Light Color) and press the start button.
When the bread machine has finished baking the bread, unplug the bread machine, remove the bread pan and place it on a wooden cutting board.
Let the pumpkin bread stay within the bread pan for 10 minutes before you remove it from the bread pan.
After the 10 minute 'cooldown', remove the pumpkin bread from the bread pan and place it on a wire cooling rack to finish cooling.
Allow the pumpkin bread to completely cool before cutting.
