Divide the dough into 8 equally sized pieces.
Working with 1 piece at a time, roll pizza dough into a 6-inch circle to the thickness of ~⅛ inch.
Spread 1-2 tbsp of pizza sauce on one half of the circle, leaving a 1-inch border.
Add ~3 tbsp cheese and ~2 tbsp various toppings to each calzone.
Fold the clean side of the dough up and over the filled side.
Gently twist and pinch the edges together to seal the calzone. Use a knife to cut 2-3 vents in the top.
Brush olive oil on the basket of the air fryer AND the top of the calzone.
Place 1-2 calzones in the air fryer and bake at 370˚F for 9 minutes (check at 7 minutes since all air fryers will bake slightly differently).
