  1. Prepare Dashi (optional) Heat 2 cups of water. Add bonito flakes or kombu, simmer for 5 minutes, then remove. (Skip this step if using only Minute Miso.)

  2. Stir the Minute Miso packet into the hot water. Optionally, add 1-2 teaspoons of fresh miso paste for deeper flavor.

  3. Toss in the tofu cubes and wakame seaweed, letting the seaweed rehydrate for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Stir in sliced mushrooms, daikon radish, or carrots, and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.

  5. Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Add shichimi togarashi or chili oil for a spicy kick, if desired.
