Big Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies
  1. Cream together butter and sugars for 5 minutes.

  2. Add vanilla and then eggs, one at a time, beating until incorporated.

  3. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture and mix until combined.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips.

  5. Chill dough for at least 1 hour, but up to a couple of days.

  6. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  7. Drop in large tablespoons full (or use a small cookie scoop) onto baking sheet, leaving a couple of inches between cookies.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet and then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
