Add Everything to the Crock Pot: Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker, sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the top, and add the cream cheese right on top.
Set It and Forget It: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and shreds easily with a fork.
Shred the Chicken: Remove the lid, stir, and shred the chicken right in the pot with two forks.
Optional Add-Ins: Stir in some shredded cheddar cheese or cooked bacon at the end, and garnish with chopped green onions or parsley before serving.
