Cheddar Bay Sloppy Joe Casserole
  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add a can of Manwich sauce and stir. Season with salt and black pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer.

  3. Spread the ground beef mixture in the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Sprinkle 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.

  4. In a medium bowl, prepare cheddar bay biscuits according to the package directions: combine biscuit mix, water, and shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Using a small cookie scoop, scoop the biscuit dough over the top of the casserole. Spread the biscuit dough over the ground beef mixture with an offset spatula sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven for 14 to 16 minutes until bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown.
