Preheat oven to: 400∘F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini for 2–3 minutes less than package directions, just until barely tender. Drain well.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, just until fragrant (don’t brown it).
In a large bowl, combine: cooked tortellini, garlic butter, half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix gently until well coated.
Spread tortellini evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until: edges are lightly crisp, cheese is melted, top is golden and bubbly.
Let cool for 2–3 minutes, then serve warm.
