Chinese Steamed Eggs
  1. Whisk all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Run eggs through fine mesh strainer into a bowl for steaming.

  3. Cover in plastic and poke a couple of holes.

  4. Steam in a pan for 15 minutes. I have a basket that I placed in my pan with a little bit of water, then added my bowl with eggs, covered and steamed.

  5. Once eggs are finished, add sesame oil and soy sauce.

  6. You can create cuts into the eggs to ensure all of the sauce soaks into them.

  7. Top with chili oil and green onions.

  8. Serve by itself or enjoy with rice.
