Start with olive oil in the pan, chop and add the half onions and cook on medium heat until soft, then add chopped half of the tomato.
Add the contents of the fava beans tin, add cumin salt and pepper and cook on medium heat until most of the liquid has evaporated. Use a wood spoon to crush down some of the beans while they are cooking.
To serve, pour onto a plate, decorate with the remaining chopped tomato, parsley and a drizzle of olive oil. In Sudan we use Sesame oil because Sesame is widely grown. Sprinkle a little more cumin and add the boiled eggs to decorate.
