  1. Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until translucent and golden brown on the edges, approximately 10 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 1-2 minutes.

  2. Add chicken and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add shawarma seasoning, salt, and stir well.

  3. Add rice and stir for one minute.

  4. Pour in boiling water. Raise heat and return to a boil. Lower heat to low, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.
