Brown ground beef with onion in a skillet, then drain excess grease. (6–8 minutes)
Add potatoes, beef, beans, tomatoes, corn, soup, broth, and seasonings to the slow cooker.
Stir well, cover, and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top, cover, and cook until melted. (10 minutes)
Serve warm.
