Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a muffin tin.
Open the cinnamon rolls and separate each one.
Flatten each roll slightly and stretch it out.
Spoon a small amount of apple pie filling into the center, chopping the apples smaller if needed.
Fold the dough around the filling and pinch it closed to seal.
Place seam-side down into the muffin tin.
Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Drizzle with the included icing and a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.
Let cool slightly before serving.
