Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease an 8-inch baking dish.
Whisk together 4 eggs, ¾ cup sugar, ½ cup melted butter, ½ cup flour, 2 cups warm milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 50–60 minutes, until the top is lightly golden and the center is just set.
Let the cake cool completely, then chill for at least 2 hours.
Dust with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
