Soft Snickerdoodles Recipe
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.

  4. Add flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar; mix just until combined.

  5. Scoop dough into large 3-tablespoon portions and roll into balls.

  6. Roll each ball in cinnamon sugar.

  7. Place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake 9–10 minutes, until edges are set and centers are soft and slightly underdone.

  9. Let cookies cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring.
