Lasagna Soup
  1. Heat olive oil in a large soup pot over medium heat

  2. Add ground beef and Italian sausage, sauté until fully cooked through, then remove from pan

  3. Add chopped white onion and sauté for 5-6 minutes

  4. Add garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes

  5. Add diced tomatoes, jarred tomato sauce, veggie broth, tomato paste, Calabrian chilis, heavy cream, oregano, and parsley; stir well to combine

  6. Add cooked meat back into the pot

  7. Bring soup to a light boil and add pasta

  8. Cover and cook until pasta is al dente, about 15 minutes

  9. While pasta is cooking, mix ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan in a bowl

  10. Test pasta for doneness

  11. Serve in bowls with a scoop of cheese mixture and garnish with basil
