  1. Cut the chicken fillets into 1 inch chunks.

  2. Slice the onions and green chillies.

  3. Cut the peppers into cubes and chop the coriander leaves.

  4. Peel and julienne the ginger and garlic.

  5. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add the chicken pieces. Fry on high heat for 2 mins.

  6. Now add the turmeric, red Chilli powder and salt. Mix and fry on medium heat for 3-4 mins till the chicken is fried and the pieces are coated with the masalas.

  7. Heat 1.5 tbsp oil in a pan and add the sliced onions. Fry on medium heat for 6-7 mins till translucent.

  8. Now add the julienned ginger and garlic, give a mix and fry on low heat for 2 mins.

  9. Add the julienned peppers and mix & fry on medium heat for 2 mins.

  10. Now add the tomato purée, give a mix and fry on low heat for 2 mins.

  11. Add all the spice powders, give a mix and fry on medium heat for 1 min.

  12. Add the fried chicken pieces, give a mix and fry on medium heat for 2 mins.

  13. Add the green chillies, give a mix and fry on medium heat for 2 more mins.

  14. Add 50 ml water, give a mix and cover & cook on low heat for 10 mins till chicken is tender and oil separates.

  15. Now add the garam masala powder, give a mix and simmer for 2 mins.

  16. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, give a mix and serve hot.
