Air Fryer Sweet & Sour Pork Fakeaway
  1. Pork Marinade: Mix the rice wine, light soy sauce, 2 tsp sesame oil and ½ tsp salt together. Add the pork and leave to marinate for 30 mins to an hour.

  2. Pork crispy coating: Whisk the egg, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp sesame oil and 1 tbsp cornflour together. Dip the marinated pork pieces in the egg mixture and then coat in the remaining 2 tbsp cornflour.

  3. Air fry the pork at 200C for 10-12 mins, shaking the basket halfway, until crispy and golden brown.

  4. Sweet & Sour Sauce: In a small saucepan, mix together the chicken stock, light soy sauce, tomato puree, vinegar, sugar, 2 tsp sesame oil, dark soy (if using), white pepper and honey. Bring to a simmer.

  5. In a small bowl, mix the 3 tbsp cold water and 2 tsp cornflour to make a slurry. Pour this into the simmering sauce and stir until thickened.

  6. Add the crispy pork, carrots, peppers, onion and pineapple to the sauce and toss to coat everything evenly.

  7. Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
