Stretch out dough into a rectangle-ish shape. Be sure to dust it well with flour and cornmeal to prevent it from sticking to the surface
Cut cheese sticks into 1” pieces and place onto the dough with enough room to fold dough over the cheese. Season with a little basil and Italian seasoning, then close in, pinching the ends of the dough together
Cut into individual pieces and be sure all ends are closed off so that no cheese escapes in the oil
Place in oil at 350-375°F and fry for just a few minutes (stirring until golden brown) and place on a warming rack
Cover in garlic butter and parm, then toss well. Serve with a little more basil and parm for some of the most flavorful bites you’ll ever have
