Mexican Rice
  1. Heat oil (vegetable or olive) in pan over medium-high heat

  2. Once oil is hot place rice in the pan and brown; Once it's all nice and toasty brown, add water and bring heat down to medium heat.

  3. add bouillon and mix it well, until it's all dissolved. Cover the rice for about 20 mins.

  4. Check the rice by carefully placing a spoon in the middle of the pan and gently spread the rice apart (NEVER STIR THE RICE AFTER YOU'VE COVERED IT! It will turn to mush!) and taste it to see if all the rice is cooked (not hard) if so. Then you're good to go. If not, then add like ½ cup of water and cover again, repeat this process if needed until done.

  5. Also, if you taste the rice and it needs more seasoning then add more seasoning to like ½ cup of hot water until it's dissolved and pour it throughout all the rice (not in just one spot).
