Place the flour, sugar and baking powder in a mixing bowl and give it a good stir.
Add the softened butter and use your fingertips to rub the butter into the flour and sugar until you have a fine crumb.
Add the chopped chocolate pieces, orange zest and melted marmalade.
Stir until all of the ingredients are combined.
Heat the oven to 200C fan (425F)
Add the milk and stir until you have a dough.
Use your hands to combine and roughly knead until smooth.
If it's a bit sticky, add a little more flour.
Grease a 2lb loaf tin and add the dough to the tin.
Press down until evenly spread before brushing the top with milk.
Bake in the oven for 35 minutes, before covering in foil and baking for another 5-10 minutes until cooked through.
Leave to cool before cutting into slices and serving with butter.
