Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a food processor, blend chickpeas, almond meal, egg (or flax egg), baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs, salt and pepper. Add water gradually until the mixture forms a spreadable dough.
Transfer the dough onto the lined tray and use a spatula to shape it into a thin, round crust (about ½ cm thick). Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden and firm.
Spread the tomato sauce over the baked crust, then layer with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, olives and grated cheese.
Return to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy warm with fresh basil or a drizzle of olive oil.
