Pan-seared chicken breasts over creamy egg noodles in a rich garlic parmesan sauce. A comforting skillet dinner.
🍴 Ingredients:
_ 4 boneless chicken breasts
_ 1 bag egg noodles (12 oz)
_ 2 tbsp olive oil
_ 4 cloves garlic (minced)
_ 1½ cups heavy cream
_ 1 cup chicken broth
_ ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
_ 2 tbsp butter
_ ½ tsp salt
_ ½ tsp black pepper
_ Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
👩🏽🍳 Instructions:
1_ Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2_ Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
3_ Heat olive oil in a black skillet over medium-high heat.
4_ Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden-brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
5_ In same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
6_ Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
7_ Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
8_ Add cooked egg noodles to the skillet. Toss to coat in sauce.
9_ Return chicken to skillet. Spoon sauce over top.
10_ Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
📝 Notes: Use any pasta shape. Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor. Store leftovers in fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in skillet with a splash of cream.
