Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside
Combine the butter, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until it bubbles up, becomes light and fluffy, then turns a deep glossy caramel color
Pour the butter and sugar mixture onto the prepared sheet pan and spread it out into an even layer
Sprinkle the sliced almonds directly onto the butter and sugar mixture and let sit for two minutes
Top with the chocolate chips and let sit for five minutes until they melt
Sprinkle the walnuts on top
Let sit in the fridge until it sets
Crack into bite sized pieces and enjoy
