Spanish Garlic Shrimp + Garlic Toast
  1. Cut the baguette into diagonal slices that are 1 inch (2.50 cm) thick

  2. Add ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil into a bowl, along with ¼ cup margarine or butter, finely grate in 3 cloves garlic and add 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, whisk together until you end up with a creamy texture

  3. Spread the mixture over the slices of baguette, just on one side, then add them into a baking tray lined with parchment paper, season each slice with a kiss of sea salt

  4. Add into a preheated oven, bake + broil option (bottom + top heat), 210 C - 410 F

  5. After 5 to 6 minutes and the slices are lightly toasted, remove from the oven and set aside

  6. Meanwhile, heat a large fry pan with a medium heat

  7. Thinly slice 6 cloves of garlic and pat dry 20 raw jumbo shrimp (peeled & deveined) with paper towels, season with sea salt & black pepper

  8. Add ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil into the hot pan, along with the sliced garlic, mix continuously, after 1 minute add in the shrimp, all in a single layer, cook for 1 minute per side, then add in ½ tsp hot smoked paprika and quickly mix everything together, remove from the heat

  9. Transfer the garlic shrimp into a shallow bowl, place over a large plate, decorate the garlic toast around the shrimp, enjoy!
