Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
Puree legumes, oil, milk, sugar and eggs.
Add the flour, baking powder, salt and cacao if using. Either add to blender/food processor and mix until just combined, or stir well until just combined. Don’t overmix if using regular flour. Add the chocolate chips and stir again.
Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin. Bake at 200 deg C for 17-19 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of a muffin comes out clean.
Cool muffins on a wire rack.
